Literary scholar, medievalist; teaches classes in the History of English Literature. His research interests include medieval drama and theatre, chivalric romance and its political significance, image of the Trojan War in the Middle Ages, medieval religious literature, English medieval mysticism, reception of Boethius in literature, William Shakespeare, medievalism in contemporary literature.
