Step 12: RECEIVE A GRANT
Scholarships are paid to your account! The amount of the Erasmus + scholarship is determined annually and depends on the resources available to Poland, the number and duration of studies for which Polish students go and the criteria according to which the home university divides the funds awarded. Before leaving the university pays 80% of the grant and the remaining 20% after the student’s return and submitting an online survey of the scholarship holder.
Expenses await you in connection with your trip, so remember that the Erasmus + scholarship is only intended to cover the difference between the cost of living and studying in your home country and the costs in the host country, not for the total costs you pay abroad.
PROCEEDINGS DURING SCHOLARSHIP STAY
CHANGES TO LEARNING AGREEMENT
Upon arrival, you may need to change your Learning Agreement. To do this, you complete the section „Section completed during the mobility”. Remember that the changes must be accepted by the coordinator at the partner university and only then sent to the home university. You have one month from the date you started to move to make changes in LA!
EXTENSION OF STAY
Studies at a partner university can be extended only to the summer semester of a given academic year. In this case, the student may apply for an increase in the scholarship. Any funding for this period from the program is not guaranteed. The student maintains the status of „Erasmus + student” even in the absence of funding for the next semester.
To extend your studies:
obtain the consent of the partner university for the extension of studies and accommodation for the next semester,
obtain the consent of the relevant head of department for the extension of foreign studies,
develop a new Learning Agreement (for the next semester),
get credit for the last semester at the partner university,
get credit for the last semester at the CSC in Krosno.
IRO asks you to signal earlier that you wish to extend your stay for the summer semester and to inform you about the progress of document preparation.

After the mobility is completed, a link to the mandatory second language test will be sent. Completing it is a prerequisite for obtaining the remaining amount of the scholarship.
CERTIFICATE OF LENGTH OF STAY
Such a certificate is issued by the host university, the dates on this certificate should be consistent with the duration of the scholarship. The certificate (unless the university sends it by itself) must be submitted to the IRO room. The final amount of the remainder of the scholarship will be calculated based on confirmation of stay. In the case of shorter confirmation than for the period included in the contract, the remaining amount will be reduced accordingly.
